Gold Snowflakes

Here is the snowflake card I wasn't sure I liked. I guess there are parts I like, but the sketch called for an angled border and that really through me off. The colours were inspired by the Bo Bunny snowflake stamp set I didn't use, but of course I had every snowflake stamp set I own out. Just for good measure...you know right? I stamped them in blues and browns then I blended Antique Linen distress ink over the entire sheet, finishing around the edge with Vintage Photo. Red, White and Gold

Cherry Cobbler, white and gold. With dessert...an ornament! I knew exactly where this was going. I had been compelled by forces stronger than I could resist, to buy new dies after watching Jennifer McGuire's and Kristina Werner's Simon Says release videos. This was the hardest card to photograph because I used a mirror gold foil and it was so reflective I couldn't get a good shot. Kissed Butterflies

Hey Stampers! I had a little time to play along with the Splitcoaststampers Technique Lovers Challenge and it was quick, easy and fun. They called it Block that Kiss and it's super simple with cool results. So simple that I made another card once I got the hang of it. First up is pirouette pink and Rich Razzleberry butterflies. I inked up my large background stamping block with pirouette pink then stamped my Hero Arts butterflies in Rich Razzleberry. Rise Above

I love butterflies, and I love collage images, so I couldn't wait to get this gorgeous stamp by Unity nice and inky. The paper was originally white and I was experimenting with stencils, ink and sprays that didn't quite turn out the way I hoped but I really like this card in the end. I cut the paper using a spellbinder die, which allowed me to get the best part if it.
